What a wonderful response the Statement of Trans-Inclusive Feminism and Womanism is getting–it’s only been up for a few hours, and already we’ve received about 60 more signatories! We began by trying to integrate the new names into the existing list in alphabetical order…but quickly realized that we just wouldn’t be able to keep up with the requests if we did that, so we’ll put up a post every day or two with the most recent signatories listed as long as signatures keep coming in.
We’re really delighted by every single person or organization who wishes to sign. Feminism and womanism can and should welcome trans* people.
New individual signatures are available here, and organizations here.
